Ripasso Remo Farina - Corvina

We like to call this one a baby Amarone! Farina Ripasso is made by re-fermenting the wine with leftover grape skins from Amarone production, which results in a wine with more body, color, and complexity than a regular Valpolicella. A ripe nose of candied dark cherry with a hint of sweet orange, plus fruit-forward flavors with juicy acidity and moderate grip. Sweet fruit lingers on the mid-palate and into the finish, with hints of spice and pepper - a delicious, approachable, and easy-drinking wine.
